Rising energy costs and strong demand for energy-saving building materials presented us with a challenge. In April 2008 our new range, the multi-wall sheet Makrolon^® multi UV 5M - "The Energy Saving Sheet" with high thermal insulation, was launched in the market.

The product stands out with its innovative properties, together with excellent processing and aesthetic qualities. After just a few months it has been accepted very positively by our customers and is generating tremendous sales.

The resultant downswing in demand for Makrolon^® multi UV 5X, caused by many customers switching to 5M, has provoked the decision not to continue with the 5X structure, as a standard product, from 1 April 2009.

The last production run for Makrolon^® multi UV 5X sheets is planned for calendar week 13. Orders that reach us by the end of February can therefore still be accommodated. Please contact our internal sales team or your Account Manager.
